CBD products are not medicines, but natural herbal products. The antioxidant properties of cannabis are a particularly beneficial side effect. CBD can also perfectly complement or support conventional pain therapy.

The use of cannabis for pain has a long history. Phytocannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD) is of great importance because it is not opium and does not become addictive. CBD can be particularly successful in treating pain caused by inflammation. Like synthetic painkillers, CBD can suppress the production of pro-inflammatory tissue hormones. However, there are no side effects on the stomach / intestines, heart / circulatory system or kidneys.

Due to its antispasmodic and neuroprotective properties, it is extremely versatile. That is why cannabidiol is also used especially for nerve pain and cramp-like symptoms. Cannabidiol can also reduce the need for painkillers, which of course also reduces side effects.

CBD and CBDA are cannabinoids, unique compounds found in the cannabis plant. CBDA is CBD acid, i.e. CBDa (CBD acid), which after heating becomes CBD and is therefore a precursor.

Although there is a lot of talk about CBD, CBDA, unfairly, falls aside. Like CBD, CBDA has both anti-inflammatory and antiproliferative (anti-growth) properties.

Our products focus on CBD and CBDA, both substances like THC are a natural part of the hemp plant. For our oils we use cannabis which has a high CBD content and a particularly low THC content.

Although there are no regulations on the concentration of CBD and CBDA, by law, the THC content in our products must not exceed the upper limit of 0.3% in order to be sold in Europe without a prescription. THC in such a small amount has no psychotropic effects and is therefore safe to consume.

The flowers of female cannabis grown in the wild are very gently extracted with alcohol (bio-ethanol). Due to the heat extraction process, the complete terpene spectrum remains, as well as all phytocannabinoids and other secondary plant compounds such as flavonoids, carotenoids, vitamins A and E.

Flavonoids are so-called secondary plant substances and are responsible for coloring plants. In addition, they provide protection from the harmful effects of the environment. The term flavon comes from the Latin word flavus = yellow. Most flavonoids are yellow, orange or red. About 65,000 compounds are known to be divided into different groups depending on their basic structure. From a chemical point of view, flavonoids belong to polyphenols and many of them have an antitumor effect and are scavengers of radicals. These are aromatic compounds in our food that are found in many types of fruits and vegetables. The high content of flavonoids is often responsible for the red color of certain foods.

This is how our golden / red-gold oil is formed, without harmful substances, rich in cannabinoids and flavonoids and little THC.

We use medical MCT oil very pragmatically. Medium chain triglycerides.

Due to the shorter chain length of fatty acids, MCT fats are relatively easily soluble in water and can therefore be metabolized without bile acids. Their structure also does not require cleavage by pancreatic lipase (an enzyme in the pancreas). Without bypassing the lymphatic system, they are transported directly in the blood to the liver, where they are primarily oxidized compared to conventional fats and more ketone bodies are formed. The transport of medium chain fatty acids (MCFA = medium chain fatty acids) to mitochondria, the site of fatty acid oxidation, takes place independently of carnitine. This means that they are pure energy for mitochondria.

Unfortunately, this is the only unnatural ingredient in our oils. Due to the high degree of refining, it is not possible to talk about BIO in relation to MCT oils with the best will in the world (although many manufacturers like to advertise with “BIO MCT OIL”).

At least ours comes from certified sustainably produced coconuts.

However, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages: Rapid absorption in the intestine, extremely high energy density, standardized quality, not rancid and used in medicine.
